My Three Girls Watercolour
I hadn’t painted a watercolour of any of my children in a while, actually it’s quite rare and I wanted to fix this. This is the first painting with all 3 girls together and I tried a few new things such as a different coloured pencil and a masking pen that didn’t work out as well as I hoped. I even tried my Keba Artmate for the first time and slightly messed that up as well ^^; You’ll see in the wips (work in progress photos) that until this last time, I still took a long progress in watercolour paintings. I’d draw the entire thing out and try to fix all my errors to the point where the paper wasn’t the greatest. I’d then graphite the back and transfer the outline of my work onto watercolour paper. THEN I would use watercolour pencils to erase all my pencil lines, in this case I used a verithin crimson pencil. Tedious, right? ^^; For some reason I grew up drawing very heavy and being left-handed and drawing left to right, everything would smear across my paper. X’D my progress had been very slow, maybe that’s why I love turtle so much? but surely I’m figuring things that work for me :)
